I am trying to listen to D:2 's sound track but it is sucks big time.
Dhoom's music was really awesome. Possibly the best songs in that year
(2004?). But I can't see anything interesting about this soundtrack.

Here's my take on the music of Dhoom - 2

Pritam is the music director. He usually composes catchy tunes (which
are most often plagiarized, unfortunately). Let's see what each of the
songs sound like:

1) Crazy Kiya Re - Sunidhi Chauhan: Now, I personally, am not a fan of
Sunidhi Chauhan's voice. She simply comes across as too harsh and
often, too cheap (but maybe that's the way she needs to sound depending
on the situation). Crazy kiya re increasingly reminds me of a Western
rap song. However, with all due credit to the singer and the song, I
think Dhoom's songs will be more fun to watch than to listen to.
Interestingly, I feel that this song will do well, especially on the
radio, while you are driving home from work or just driving around.

2) Crazy Remix - For clubs and discos. Just may turn out to be more
popular than it's precedent, simply because of it's dance-to appeal.D

3) Dhoom again - Dominique Cerejo, Vishal Dadlani: Never heard of these
guys. Has a good beginning and a catchy whistle tune to it. Then, comes
the all-familiar Dhoom theme from Part 1. Decent attempt. Gives Dhoom a
new look and feel. Truly is 'Dhoom again.' Has a lot of English lyrics
in it at the same time. International track? lol

4) Dil Laga Na - Soham Chakrabarthy, Jolly Mukherjee, and a couple of
female singers. - I bet this is one of those Goa type songs.
Personally, I don't like such songs, but don't know how the market will
react to it. Just one of the songs in the album. Nothing special about
it.

5) My name is Ali - Bipasha Basu and Sonu Nigam:
No...no...no...terrible! Kind of reminds one of 'Dilbara' from Dhoom.
Why? Why? Why? What does 'escuse me to please' mean? And, I did not
misspell that word. If you're thinking that Bips has sung this one, no
she is not - just mentioned some random words all over the song.
Possibly the worst song in the album.

6) Touch Me - Alisha Chinai and KK: Now, even before this song began, I
am excited because it has Alisha Chinai (who completely rocks!) singing
in this song along with KK, who is quite decent. Verdict for this song
- nothing great, am disappointed. Not even Alisha can help this song.
Poor reminder of 'Shikdum.' In fact, Shikdum sounds much better than it
actually is after listening to this song.

My 2 cents for the soundtrack of Dhoom 2. I'd give it a 2.5/5 for the
effort. However, I bet that all the songs in the movie will sound
better once you watch the music videos/movie. Let me know what you guys
think.

Well if u were thinking that 'Crazy kiya re' sounds familiar then ur
feeling is justified. The tune is a lift-off from a song by an
Arabicc(or spanish, Im not sure) music artiste. His name is 'Tarkan'
and the name of the song is 'Qlurum Sana'
